Lithographs (H.7127.1 and H.7127.2) donated by Mr. Gus Woolheater from Aurora, Colorado. They were given to him by a family who needed help moving out of their Denver mansion. He helped the family, and they gave him these two lithographs as a thank you gift.
Schuttler & Hotz used lithographs like these as advertisements for the wagons they made in Chicago. The wagons were known for their reliability and durability. They were commonly used as a vehicle for Westward travel in the 19th century.
