Article on a number of German Prisoner of War (POW) camps in Colorado during World War II, including three of the largest camps located at Colorado Springs (Camp Carson), Trinidad (Camp Trinidad), and Greeley (Camp Greeley). The Emergency Farm Labor Program used German POW's to ease the farm labor shortage in Colorado. Includes material on escape attempts, especially at Camp Trinidad.
