Description
This is the type of black powder can that was used for blasting in the mines prior to the introduction of stick dynamite in 1885. The tin can has folded seams, a spout centered over the tapered top functions as a funnel. There is a D-shaped handle attached to the side. A tin cup serves as a lid and a measuring device.
