Small coiled basket with a flat bottom and straight walls that flare out slightly. Coils are made with bear grass. Stitches are done with yucca and are done with the regular close coil stitch. Some stitches are split. The coils have been pounded with a hammer or smooth stone to create the smooth, flat wall surface. The basket was started by taking two bundles of several strands and tying them into a knot from which the loose ends extend which were bended to the left and the coiling is then started by sewing this bundle to the knot on the exterior. Interior was started with a small plaited section. The basket has been decorated with designs in devil's claw. It has a band with a rectilinear meander. Design does not go into the rim. Rim is decorated with a diagonal stitch in devil's claw.
