Denver, Lakewood and Golden Railroad was organized in July, 1892 to build and operate a rail line from Denver to Golden via Lakewood, Colorado with a branch to the Barnum neighborhood on the west side. Construction was completed in 1894. The company went into foreclosure in 1896, and in 1904 the Denver Intermountain Railway emerged as its successor. The name was changed to Denver City Tramway Company in 1909. Part of the Mini-MSS Collection.
