Collection consists of correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, and other material relating to George Kerchival Miller. Born in England, Miller and his wife Frances emigrated to the United States in 1874, entering into a partnership with his brothers-in-law in a ranch in Colfax County, New Mexico. In 1884 he and his family moved to Denver, where he entered into the real estate business, eventually becoming the successful proprietor of the Miller Investment Company. He died in Denver in 1900. Portions of the diaries in this collection were published in Colorado Magazine under the title, "Ranching in Chicorica Park", Vol. 33, no.1 (January 1956) and Vol. 33, no. 2 (April 1956.)
