Collection consists of typescripts, reports, correspondence, clippings, pamphlets, and catalogs relating to Mesa Verde National Park in southwestern Colorado. Established in 1906, the Park contains the ruins of an extensive complex of Anasazi cliff dwellings. Most of the dwellings appear to have been constructed sometime between 1190 C.E. and 1270 C.E. when the site was abandoned. Much of the material in this manuscript collection appears to have come from the Colorado Historical Society's ephemera collection.
