Correspondence and backround information about Fort LeDuc, a trading post and fort built 1830-1835 by Maurice LeDuc near Wetmore, Colorado. The fort was built at the confluence of Adobe Creek and Mineral Creek, off the Hardscrabble Trail. The collection appears to have been gathered as part of History Colorado's Roadside Interpretation program. Correspondents include Leroy Hafen, Maxine Benson, Janet Lecompte, and Mary Farley, mostly from the 1930s-1960s. The research files appear to have been gathered around 1968.
