Portrait of Dr. James J. Waring, taken by an unidentified photographer circa 1935-1940. James Waring was born in 1884 in Georgia. He lived in Denver, Colorado from 1920 until his death in 1962. Dr. Waring co-founded and directed the Webb-Waring Institute with fellow doctor Gerald Webb. The institute contributed to the advancement of biomedical research.
