Donated by Miss. Frances E. Tennant of Denver on 5/1/1968. A letter written by Frances E. Tennant verifies the shoes in this collection were worn by her and her sister. Frances was born in Denver in 1904. She attended East Denver High School and Denver University. She worked for the Public Service Company of Colorado until her retirement in 1966. Her father, Chauncey Eugene Tennant, was the founder of the Denver Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital that later became the Spanish Hospital. See MSS #623 for more information.
