Mini-MSS. Collection consists of papers collected and created by Dr. William C. Bane of Denver, Colorado and his descendants. The older materials in the collection (1908-1912) include notes and contracts about fencing, irrigation, and planting on the ranch north of Fort Morgan in Weld County. Also includes an unsigned but descriptive Desert-land entry final proof application for the South half Northwest quarter, South half Northeast quarter, and Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 8 North, Range 59 West. There is one letter from Dr. William M. Bane dated 1964 giving an overview of the ranch and its uses. Later materials in the collection (1988-2008) are correspondence relating to oil and gas rights and leases held by the Bane, Boyle and Fulton Families. There is a printout of a photograph album titled" The Children's Baby Book, 1920-1927." Subjects in the album include: Isabel Nesmith Bane from birth through age 7, the family's house at 1062 Pearl St. in Denver
