The tree is long with several branches. Going from the left to the right, the first lady has a white off-the shoulder dress with puff sleeves cinched in, long tight fitting sleeves. Her bonnet is grey with a mauve colored flower, white band around the crown tying under her chin. Second lady has a green dress, ties with a bow in back, long tight fitting sleeves, white collar over the shoulders, lace at neck, her bonnet is grey with a plume coming from the ribbon around the crown. The third has a dress similar to the first, off the shoulder white, long sleeves, she is holding a boquet of white flowers. Her bonnet is white, white ribbon around the crown and possibly several decorative flowers on the brim. Fourth and last lady is facing to the left, her dress has long sleeves, blue sash tied in a big bow at the back, her shoes and stockings are white. Her bonnet is different, the crown is puffed, a blue ribbon around the middle, sides of the hat frame her face. She holds a large white boquet of flowers close to her chest, under the neck. The middleground is a river, trees, more foilage. The distance across the river are trees, a sloping hill and a house surrounded by more trees.
