Collection consists of correspondence, clippings, and other material relating to Olive Carr. Born in Denver, Colorado in 1889, Carr graduated from the University of Colorado in 1913. She then taught school in Meeker, Colorado, until 1915 when she took a teaching post at the Episcopal parochial school in Salt Lake City. After World War II, Carr moved to Brighton, Colorado, where she worked as a school librarian until 1956, when she became a social worker for the Adams County Department of Human Services. Carr died in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1990 at the age of 101. Photographs transferred to the Department of Photography, 1993.
