The man is wearing a U.S. Post Office clerk's hat, and both brothers worked for the post office in Denver, Colorado around this time. The photo was taken by either one of the twins or by their younger brother Edmeaux Homer Hall (b. 1897). The Hall family was a mixed-race family of African-American descent who lived at 2350 Glenarm Place in Denver.
