This trainman's uniform vest was manufactured by A.G. Meier & Company, 205 W. Monroe Street, Chicago, Illinois. It was made for W.D. Sines, a trainman for the Burlington Route of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. The dark blue vest is made from wool and a black synthetic blend fabric. It has an off-white cotton lining. There is a left breast welt pocket, two outside ticket pockets, two outside patch pockets, and a right inner breast pocket. The buttons are nickel finished.
